Motocross video is great. The stunts free style motocross riders capture on video is amazing. The free style motocross video below shows the rider setting a new record for the longest motorcycle jump to date. The measured distance from the take off ramp to the landing is 277 and one half feet! To help put that into perspective the jump the motocross video shows the rider successfully completing is only twenty two and one half foot less than the length of a one hundred yard football field. This is up there folks! Evil Kenieval may have jumped his Harley Davidson some pretty long distances but never this far or high above the ground. I know, I know. Many of you are going wait a minute. Evil jumped the Grand Canyon and yes this is true. He tried to jump the Grand Canyon and he did not make it. And the crazy fool was in a rocket, not on a motocross bike. Remember? He blasted off, went out over the canyon and then the rocket nosed over and was going to face plant him in the Colorado river but thankfully someone thought to add a parachute to the contraption.

With video cameras the sport of motocross and many other sports now enable the guy who has never ridden a motorcycle or motocross bike to get a real perspective through the motocross video of what it is actually like to leap a motorcycle across jumps and race on a motocross track. I think it is great and motocross video is also a good learning tool for younger riders and even more experienced riders to get a feel for just what it looks like from the racers perspective.
