Do you feel this guys motorcycle helmet camera set-up and location is a good idea? Personally I think having your motorcycle helmet camera this close to your field of vision is dangerous, although his video and pictures are going to well centered with the direction of his motorcycle helmet. Maybe locating a camera on the top of the motorcycle helmet would be a safer and better viewing position. This is how motocross and supercross riders do it and the pictures are great. The one advantage I can see with putting the camera inside his motorcycle helmet is if he hits a bug or the weather turns nasty and begins to rain. This current trend of mounting a camera on the motorcycle helmet is great as we get some wonderful video and pictures but riders who choose to do this should not sacrifice their field of vision and safety just to get a good picture. Perhaps it is time the manufacture's of motorcycle helmets incorporated a camera mount into the design of their helmets.
