The Nolan N100E motorcycle helmet is a very nice skid lid for the price, $215 to$265. This revised Nolan helmet is a new version of the widely used Italian N100 motorcycle helmet and while the basic styling remains unchanged the new helmet is adorned with a new all-steel two-lever latching system located at the sides of the chin bar. This new helmet feature can be operated with both hands or just your left. from tests done on this new Nolan feature it appears the chance of an accidental opening are very small. A few testers of the new motorcycle helmet said the chin dam was a bit to flexible and got in their way.

All the reviews and tests of the new N100E helmet heaped praise on the appearance and the very nicely finished product. As is common on quality motorcycle helmets the chin strap is the ratcheting buckle design. This allows quick fastening and adjust ability but does have a small bit of uncomfortable feeling. The non-adjustable faceshield stays in position nicely and the eye port is quite large. The N100E helmets is well ventilated due to the two intakes and an exhaust opening that flow through the top-vent well. The faceshield is keep clear by efficient chin bar vents.

The new Nolan helmet retails for $245 for the Classic and $190 for the Street version. The Rapid version of the helmet has a multi-colored paint with a very nice finish and a removable and washable interior padding that easily unsnaps. When snapping the padding back in place it is easy to position properly. This Nolan motorcycle helmet tends to run large when it comes to sizing so keep this in mind when ordering one.
