The Arai Vector motorcycle helmet is a very good helmet for many motorcycle riders and their passenger to wear. The Vector is DOT and Snell approved and is made of light-weight yet quite strong materials and the fit, paint finish and interior construction is excellent. Arai is the only motorcycle helmet manufacturer to offer three different internal helmet head shapes for a fit that rivals a custom made motorcycle helmet. This alone is a good reason to check out the Arai line of helmets if you need a new lid. In the words of Arai's literature the Profile helmet is a long oval shape designed to fit "riders with heads that are longer front to back and more narrow side to side". The Vector helmet is an Intermediate Oval design that Arai claims is "a more relaxed fit than the Arai Round Oval design like the Arai Quantum II helmet".

One thing about Arai helmets is the paint and graphics are second to none in the motorcycle helmet industry and the Vector is no exception to this rule. The helmet comes in a special Phil Read paint scheme, solid colors and many graphic styles so you are sure to find one you like and that matches your motorcycle. As a full-face helmet the Arai vector fits well, has good venting slits, is light weight and good eye-ports. The helmet liner is fantastic. Light-weight yet soft comfortable padding is used to form a firm yet soft grip on your head. Arai really has this part of motorcycle helmet design down to an art! The liner is removable, cleansable and different size cheek pads are available to a more custom fit if desired.
