The guys from Orange County Choppers (OCC) have made so many custom motorcycles /choppers over the years I wonder how they can remember them all. Hope they have a picture and build sheet on each one. In this motorcycle video by OCC they feature the 38 Special motorcycle/chopper. Really great looking ride and I especially like the way they incorporated aluminum tread plate into the fenders and other areas of the motorcycle/chopper. From Paul Sr. to Paul Jr and yes, even Mikey, the Teutule's are true artists. Their custom motorcycle/chopper designs are so innovative and original it is little wonder OCC motorcycle/choppers are so valuable, and I think most people would agree when I say each custom bike is a work of art. Love their TV show and especially that wild man Mikey when he is jerking the old man's chain!

Paul Sr. began building chopped motorcycles out of his basement home in Montgomery, New Your. In 1999 Paul Sr. along with his son Paul Jr. built "True Blue" for the 1999 Biketoberfest held in Daytona, Florida. the bike was a hit and launched Orange County Choppers. The Teutuls rapidly became known and recognized as builders of quality original custom motorcycle/choppers by chopper enthusiasts. As their business and reputation grew they caught the attention of the Discovery Channel who felt a TV show featuring OCC and the guys building their custom motorcycle just might be a hit. and they were right. The show, American Choppers has been on Discovery for several years now and is very well produced and very interesting. I have watched many episodes and always get a kick out the antics the Teutuls get into. They have made custom choppers for many famous people and major companies but I would say my favorite was the bike they built for Bill Murray. this particular motorcycle was designed with the movie "Caddy Shack" as the theme and turned out great. These guys are so good at incorporating unique design features into a bike the bike practically tells you what theme inspired it. Take for example the 38 Special custom motorcycle pictured above. From the tread plate in the front fender, the chrome fire hydrant air filter, the chrome fire truck siren under the front down tube, the great looking fire hose nozzle capping off the exhaust system and the fantastic way the designed in the fireman's ladder on the rear end this motorcycle tells you its story. Now that is true artistry in the form of a motorcycle.
