gas prices

Well, it has finally happened where I live. Stopped into the local BP for gas this morning for gas. The price yesterday was $3.99 a gallon. So as I was pumping gas into my car today I glanced at the price and all most crapped myself! Today's price is $4.19.9 or four dollars and twenty cents a gallon! A twenty cent rise in one day? I am pissed to say the least. Anyone else out there in our great nation as ticked-off as I am about this price gouging? If so, I think we all need to finally do something about it. Please leave your comments and ideas about the way we are being ripped off while the oil company exec's laugh all the way to the bank. I was and am still so pissed I came home and fired off an email to the White House, specifically to President Bush. I am probable on the FBI and Secret Service watch list because of this email but I am fed up. Why don't you write to our Pres and vent your feelings as I did? Google (White House contact) and you will get the email address's for the Pres, Vice-Pres and others. I'll be happy to forward my email to anyone who wants to read it.
Now on to how the price of gas is going to mean a surge in motorcycle and scooter sales. A scooter or small motorcycle will get you 100 or more miles per gallon, they are inexpensive to purchase and insurance is cheap. all you will need is a helmet and basic motorcycle riding gear and your set. Save yourself a bundle of money and start riding a scooter or motorcycle. Let the big oil companies and the inbreds from the Middle East choke on their oil! I know this post has nothing to do with what this blog is all about but I feel very satisfied to do a little venting on this subject. To all who read this please make your voice heard by writing to the President, and your elected officials. Tell them we have had it!
