Nice basic helmet.
Little noisy. I get kind of a buffeting that I didn’t get with my old cheapo helmet. Seems to create a vacuum that makes my ears pop a little sometimes. The locking mechanism that supposedly locks the screen down is pretty much worthless, doesn’t do anything. Not sure why its needed anyway. Maybe in case you wipe out and screen doesn’t open and you get hit in the face with debris?? Cant see it holding up under that circumstance anyway. I can still open the screen with it locked with the same effort. It just makes a louder "click" noise. I do like the fact that I can ride with the screen open in one of 3 positions and it stays that way, USUALLY, at least if you aren’t going too fast. Its comfortable and doesn’t itch the heck out of my head like my old helmet. All in all you can do a lot woorse than this motorcycle helmet, especially considering the price. Around ninty bucks is a great buy on a HJC motorcycle helmet.
